VidClip collects minimal data to function:
- Video segments: Start and end times you mark for videos
- Website URLs: Encoded URLs where you create segments
- License information: Your Gumroad license key for verification
- Usage data: Whether you've unlocked the premium version
We do NOT collect: Video content, personal information, browsing history, or any other user data.
How We Use Your Information
- Store your video segments locally in your browser
- Verify your license key with Gumroad's API
- Enable/disable premium features based on your license status
Data Storage
All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. We do not have access to your data, and it is not transmitted to our servers.
Third-Party Services
We use Gumroad for license verification. Gumroad's privacy policy applies to their services.
